Because I use oil paint (and not acrylic). Oil needs time to get dry in fresh air as the paint is oil based as opposed to acrylic that is based on water. Also I use thick layers of paint in my paintings (impasto style) so it needs more time to cure.

This is our second picture from Koby and we love them both equally. Everyone that sees the pictures comments on them. First time around I was slightly nervous about ordering from abroad but both transactions have been really smooth, with fairly quick delivery, though you need to allow some time for the painting to dry. Koby was a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend his work enough.
