Because I use oil paint (and not acrylic). Oil needs time to get dry in fresh air as the paint is oil based as opposed to acrylic that is based on water. Also I use thick layers of paint in my paintings (impasto style) so it needs more time to cure.

Yes, the paintings are shipped in a very secure way.
XL reinforced dedicated plastic tube made specifically for the paintings. Protects against moisture, heat and harsh shipping environments. The paintings are covered with protective nylon on top for extra safety and sealed with anti moistures.
Please be careful from buying fake painting of mine outside of etsy. Etsy is the only place right now that I am selling my originals online. Any other place is not an original of mine.
