Elegant and classy, the swan symbolizes love and abundance. Soothing in its movements, like the lake, curling and circling in the style of Art Nouveau with its wings extended to the heavens in swirling twists and turns. The shape of the swan is implied and abstract. Soothing Cool and warm oil colors emphasize the outline of the swan. Painted with rough and delicate brushstrokes to create a three-dimensional effect, the layers of paint form a beautiful shadow in proper lighting. A modern work of art. The black splash coming out of the lake together with the swan’s abstract wings signs the piece, adding a layer of the abstract and the uncontrolled, and highlighting the delicate colors in the painting. One of my most recent classical-modern pieces.

Because I use oil paint (and not acrylic). Oil needs time to get dry in fresh air as the paint is oil based as opposed to acrylic that is based on water. Also I use thick layers of paint in my paintings (impasto style) so it needs more time to cure.

Please be careful from buying fake painting of mine outside of etsy. Etsy is the only place right now that I am selling my originals online. Any other place is not an original of mine.
